My favourite zoo animal is a tiger. The first reason is because it can camouflage. The second reason is that they can run fast. The last reason is that they can jump out to catch their prey. 

Mr Hemi looks like he has big black boots he doesn't get muddy feet from puddles. He gets the balls. Sometimes he plays rugby with the boys.

Last Friday Room 7, 8, and 9 went to the zoo. The bus driver's name was Peter. He was down the bus not up the bus. I sat next to Sophia and looked out the window. When we went to the zoo we had morning tea with our mums and dads or teacher. Then we went in our groups. We looked at the animals. Our favourite animal was a zebra. Then room 8 went to the zoo classroom. We had to go and look at the animal stuff. Kodey got to sit on John's chair and he got to talk to the walkie talkie. Room 8 got to look at the tiger and lions. This lady fed the girl frog. The frogs' dinner was beetles, white beetles. The frogs were scared of us. They looked like different kinds of frogs. They had black eyes. We had a look around John's classroom. I saw a big tusk. It was very cool. After that we sat on the bean bags and we had to listen to John. Then we got in our groups and had a look at the animals again.
Room 8 had lunch and we had a big play on the playground. I went on a very long slide. It was a very long hill. I was too slow to go down the slide and Jade pushed me with his legs. Peter the bus driver picked Room 7, 8, and 9 up so we could go to school. When we got back to school our teacher let us have a play on the playground. It was fun.

Benny is blue and white. There was a cat named Top Cat. There was a police officer. Benny was doing a hula. He went ‘cha cha cha’. Benny was top cat’s friend. Benny’s book was about Hawaii.

Yesterday we went to swimming sports. We sat up nicely and I was in the finals of the running race.
