Zoo Trip Recount
Last Friday Room 8, 9, and 7 went on a double-decker bus. I sat by Saffron and Ngaio. We played rock, paper, scissors. The bus driver's name was Peter. I sat up the top on the way there. Me and Ngaio talked about the cartoons. We were talking about funny things. I laughed and Ngaio did too. The people that were behind me were touching me. We had fun.
When we got there we sat down. Then we had morning tea. Then we had a walk. We saw the tigers. We got lost. We went to see the otters. We went through the tunnel to see the meerkats. It was funny because the meerkat was on the glass. At 11 o'clock we had to go into the classroom. We saw the frogs. They were all females. Kodey got to sit on the chair and hold the walkie talkie. The man's name was John. He showed us the pictures on his projector. The lady fed the frogs with bugs. The frogs could feel your movement. I saw the frog shove the bug in with his hands. It did it in one mouthful. The frogs were fat. We sat on bean bags. We looked at the lizard. It camouflaged itself. The blue lizard had a purple tongue. He was hiding under the leaves. When we got in the classroom the lady fed the frogs. It was their lucky day because it was their third day that they ate.
I saw the rhinoceros, tigers, meerkats, hippos, peacocks, zebras, and lions. The peacocks where chirping out so loud that it hurt my ears. The lions were roaring at me. The rhinoceros was running around. The zebras were galloping so hard that I could hear them.
Then we went on the playground. I went down the slide. It was dark. We had lunch when we got there. Me and Dontei slid down the egg.
Then we went back to school. I sat down the bottom. When we got off the bus we said good bye to Peter.

Once upon a time there lived three bears. There was one big bear and one Medium bear and one small bear. Then they made porridge. One there was a big Bowl, one Medium Bowl and one small Bowl. Goldilocks came around. She saw the house. She said "Oh, I wonder who this house belongs to?" Then she went in. She saw the porridge. She tried the big one but it was too hot. Then she tried the Medium one and that was too hot too. So she tried the small one and that was just right. So she ate it all. Then she went to bed. She tried the big one. It was too hard. Then she tried the medium one it was too soft. Then she tried the small one. Then the three bears came. Back. She Woke up. She ran straight out the door and Back home. The Mama Bear and Baby Bear and Papa Bear were so angry. Then they had to buy a new chair for little bear. He was angry and sad.

Yesterday we walked to the pool. Tatiana came second in the swimming races. I won the kick board race. We had a running race in the water. I won in the final. I had so much fun. It was cool at swimming sports. I was supposed to get a certificate but I didn't. I like doing swimming sports.

Once upon a time there lived a big angry troll. He captured the beautiful princess. Then the king and queen sent their knights but they fainted. So they went back. Then a brave dragon flew away with the princess on his back. Then they flew back then they kissed and they lived happily ever after.
