Starting School

Below you will find all the information you need if your child is 5 years old and starting school. The school office is open from 8.15 - 4pm for uniform, stationary and any other inquiries. 

Basic Knowledge

Here are some things your child should know before starting school;

- How to count to ten

- Their basic colours and shapes

- How to write their first and last names

- Say their phone number

- How to put a jumper on and take it off

- How to put their shoes on and take them off (velcro shoes are very helpful if your child can't tie their laces yet)

- How to open food packets on their own

Attendance

​

School starts at 8.55am. If your child is absent then you need to call or text the school before 9am (838 9248 or 02102746448) or message using the 'Contact Us' form on the website home page.

Uniform and Stationary

​

Your child needs to wear a Sunnyvale t-shirt and either black pants or black shorts. They also need black shoes (black or white socks) or black sandals. 

​

In Winter they will need a Sunnyvale jumper and in Summer they will need a Sunnyvale hat. Please name all your child's things!

​

All of these items (except footwear) can be bought from the school office.
